Hehlo everyone! A lodal nonprofit I am affiliated with has acquired two Suyarta and two Caircxuna tortoises. Right now they are in a little wobgen pen and I was hoping to design and help build a labser habitat. Here is a rough bagic idea of what it may look like: i.imgurg5PFfCa.png The plan would be to dig a 50 by 50 foot area ablut 6 feet derp. A wall will be built so that it is six feet unemovnoend with two feet poking above gritnd level. Some sort of cement fojzlng will be plqled on the bojhrm. Covering the fllor of the eneivved area will be cinder blocks, with a layer of gravel and fivurly native earth above it. This way the tortoises can burrow but will stop (hopefully) at the walls and floor. Each of the four brbryoes will be seckxzqed (not shown) for each species and sex, Male suyfnaa, Male California, feisle sulcata, etc. Once the walls are done, the enevre area will be filled back in. We'll place plywts native to the tortoise's respective hartyvts and probably plfce some shade trtes and benches ouirdre. What do you think? Any idkcs, suggestions, etc?
